Admittance Policy

Non-Discriminatory Policy

It is, and shall be, the policy and practice of Bethel Christian School, in admission of students or the hiring of employees, not to discriminate on the basis of the applicant’s race, color, gender, or national origin.

indication of the student's working grade level.
4.  Following the testing an interview with the administrator will be conducted.
5.  If it is determined the student is able to work successfully within Bethel  Christian School's
curriculum and expectations, the parents of the student will be notified of the studen't acceptance
into Bethel Christian School and will be asked to come to the school office to complete the
necessary financial forms for the finance office.
6.  All new students will be placed on academic/behavioral probation for the first semester. Any
student who does not conform to the standards and regulations of the school will be dismissed.
7.   Students that are denied admittance to the school may submit an appeal in writing to the Bethel
Christian School Board to be reviewed at their next regularly scheduled meeting.

Student Transfer Policy

Students transferring into Bethel Christian School are accepted based on their admittance test scores, standardized test scores, and previous school records. The students are enrolled at the appropriate grade level once these records have been reviewed and discussed by the principal and the teacher who administered the Bethel Christian School admittance test. If there are concerns about a student’s ability or proficiency in a particular subject area, this is discussed with the parents and accommodations or adjustments are made to the child’s program.

Delinquent Accounts
In the event an account becomes over 30 days delinquent, we reserve the right to require you to remove your children from the school. Report cards will be withheld until accounts are brought current. Please understand that we feel as responsible as you do in allowing an account to accumulate a large debt that would be a great burden to pay. Families with delinquent accounts will not be allowed to re-enroll their students.
Pro-rates-Late Enrollments
Application/Testing Fee is not pro-rated
Late Enrollment Registration
Enrollments after September 15 - Registration will be prorated by the school quarter. Students enrolling during the 2nd quarter will pay 85% registration; during 3rd quarter a student will pay 70%; and during the last quarter students will pay 55% of the registration.
Pro-rate Late Enrollment Tutition
Enrollments through September 15 will be required to pay full annual tuition. Enrollments after September 15 will be pro-rated. (Each remaining month of school is equal to one ninth of the annual tuition amount.) An enrollment between the 1st and the 15th of the month will be charged a full month’s tuition. Enrollment between the 16th and the end of the month will be charged an amount equal to half a month’s tuition.
The monthly payment for late enrollment students will be determined by the percentage of the school year remaining (to the nearest half month). The partial year tuition will be divided into equal payments.
Pro-rates-Withdrawels
If a student withdraws during the school year, a pro-rate will be made for the month of withdrawal only. Withdrawal from the 1st through 15th will be issued a credit for one-half month’s tuition. Withdrawal from the 16th to the end of the month will not be issued a credit.
Refunds
Refunds will not be made for absences due to illness, holidays or other causes. The tuition is based on the annual amount not the monthly payment. Any refund due in the event of a withdrawal will only be made if a credit remains on your account after all other payment responsibilities are cleared. All refunds require a withdrawal form to be filled out in the school office. Refunds require 20-30 days from withdrawal date to process.
